I realise that my/my child’s body’s reaction to physical activity is not totally predictable. Should they develop a condition that affects their ability to exercise I will inform the instructor immediately.

All the information on this form will be stored in relation to our GDPR policy. If you would like to view this, please ask to see a copy which will be available from your class teacher. By signing this form, you are consenting to this policy also. You can view our child protection and health and safety policy in this way too. The Privacy Policy is part of this document.

Payment Policy

For all our children’s classes we request payment in advance on a half termly basis. Invoices will be sent at the beginning of the half term. Half terms vary in length but are usually between five and eight weeks. No refunds are given for days when the student is not in attendance.

A 10% family discount is offered when two or more members of the family dance with SO:Dance.

Adult classes are ‘pay as you go’ but must be paid for by the start of the class/ As adult classes are ‘pay as you go’, notice isn’t required if leaving the school however all children’s classes are pay half termly and so to terminate your contract with SO:Dance we require one months’ (4 weeks) notice, this must be given in term time and in writing. If notice is not given you may be charged the notice period. If we feel that a student or parent isn’t settling in, then we have the right to terminate the contract in writing.

Cancellation of Classes: If classes are cancelled due to the fault of the company the time will be made up, or fees will be deducted from the following month’s fees. This will be done at the discretion of SO:Dance. We will not be financially liable for classes or dates cancelled due to events beyond our reasonable control. We retain the right to change the advertised program of classes in the event of illness or other circumstances beyond our control such as bad weather.

Dress Code Policy

Students must present themselves in a tidy manner at all times. All our children’s classes have a set uniform. Correct uniforms must always be worn. If you have any questions regarding the dress code for a particular lesson, please ask the teacher or email.

Behaviour Policy

During sessions, students are expected to behave in a polite manner. If a student is causing disruption to others’ learning they may be asked to leave the lesson. Any unacceptable behavior from students and/or parents/carers will not be tolerated. Unacceptable behavior by pupils may result in exclusion from current and/or further activities. Parents or family members may be banned from premises, events and/or performances.
